Villa dei Mandarini and Villa dei Limoni stand on our family estate at Salinelle, 13,000 m² of citrus and olive trees west of central Cefalù. From the private gate you walk down to the beach: no roads to cross, no car to park at the seaside.
The two villas
Same estate, same beach, two ways to spend your holiday: the large two-storey house for big families and the single-storey villa for groups of six.

Here the sea is not a listing promise: the estate runs down to the coast and the way to the beach is private. From Villa dei Limoni a path among the olive trees leads to the gate and on to the sand, about 150 metres from the house. From Villa dei Mandarini you walk down to the beach directly from the property, without crossing a road.
When you come back there is an outdoor shower to rinse off salt and sand before going inside. With children it makes a real difference: you go and come back whenever you like, even just for a swim before dinner.

Salinelle is the stretch of coast between Capo Playa and Lascari, west of the town centre. The beach is wide, sandy with some small pebbles in places, with clean water and room even in August. Beach clubs with sun loungers alternate with free stretches where you just bring an umbrella.
When the breeze picks up, windsurfers and kitesurfers arrive: with small children, pick the calm days. To compare it with the other beaches in the area, read our guide to Cefalù beaches.

Lascari station is less than a kilometre from the villas and the train reaches central Cefalù in under ten minutes: you get off close to the seafront, have dinner in the old town and come back without worrying about parking, which in summer is the main headache in the centre.
If you arrive by car, each villa has its own free private parking inside the estate: three spaces at Villa dei Mandarini, four at Villa dei Limoni. Everything about planes, trains and driving is on our how to get to Cefalù page.

Villa dei Mandarini, with five bedrooms and two bathrooms over two floors, sleeps up to 9: the choice for large families or two families who want to share a house. Villa dei Limoni, all on one floor, sleeps up to 6 and has a large yard in front where children can play safely.
The two villas are on the same estate, a short walk apart: if both are free on your dates you can rent them together and be fifteen, each group with its own house, kitchen and patio.
